Xian Leng Q3 hit by competition
PETALING JAYA: Xian Leng Holdings Bhd
recorded a net loss of RM58.75mil in the third quarter ended Oct 31
compared with a profit of RM633,000 a year earlier due to dwindling
demand and stiff competition in the ornamental fish trade.
It told Bursa Malaysia
that the poor quarterly results contributed to an overall loss of
RM60.49mil for the first nine months. Xian Leng recorded a loss of
RM61.57mil over the cumulative period compared with a loss of RM1.09mil
in the previous corresponding period.
